Finding Bliss during stressful times

Welcome to LOA and More! Today I am interested in expressing how well the LOA works and how to use it effectively even when you feel like you’ve been given a bowl of lemons.

Everyone feels helpless at times, like the control we have is slipping away. Like we are trying so hard and what we want is leaving, and there is a void. Or an angry person is telling you where to go and you not only don’t deserve it, but you didn’t see it coming!

If we are practicing LOA then we also know that we create our own reality…So what we expect, desire, and believe will happen is what will manifest.

And this is why it’s not necessary to be perfect, but it is necessary to make gradual changes in how you respond to each situation that arises. It’s not complicated, especially if you just try to maintain a good mood most of the time.

See if the next few examples make sense for you and if you’d like to challenge yourself to try it as well.

1.  You’re speaking with your spouse and then he/she finds fault with you. Typically, you would stuff that feeling down or get upset and blow up.

LOA teaches awareness, so you can stop or slow down the flow of energy toward helplessness, anger, fear, shame, doubts.  Even while your partner is unhappy, you don’t have to be!

You can remember to breathe and relax in the knowing that this accusation is not about you, but about him/her.

You might be considerate and acknowledge that your partner may have had a bad day, or maybe received some bad news.  Becoming aware of yourself during these situations is a great step toward having a new and desired outcome.  What would you like yours to be?

2.  You thought you were getting ahead then you get yet “another” setback.  You feel burdened with all you have on your shoulders, and you barely have any room to move.

LOA teaches you to find ease, so that when you aren’t in a sticky situation, you would be practicing ease.  If you were doing that often, you will see the results!  So, what can you do now to bring some ease into your life?  Something small, like breathing deeply while you are waiting in line, or while you are driving?

You can’t get ahead until you decide you have an easy life right now!

Inspired Life

Do you know if you are living an inspired life?

Have you thought about following through on your biggest ideas and plans lately?  As the end of the year quickly approaches, it’s time to get real about if your life is really what you’ve defined it would be.

How do you “know” that your life has meaning?  Can you feel it?

How do you define yourself and what matters to you? More

What We Are Able to Perceive

What we are able to perceive is a reflection of the state of mind and heart we are in.  Did you ever notice that when you are in a bad mood, more bad things keep happening?  Or if you are in a good mood, there is no end to the fun you have?

The reason is that we are only able to perceive within whatever vibration we are in.

  • If we are vibing “no money” we keep seeing no money in the situations we encounter and in our bank accounts.
  • If we are vibing “bad relationships” many things can go wrong within a few different relationships, even ones we enjoy.
  • If we are vibing “sickness”, we get more sickness!

The way to get out of this cycle, is to intend to feel good before you even get out of bed.  Intend to feel what God wants us to feel, which is good, relief, joy, happiness, and comfort.  Of course, there are many more higher energy vibes you could begin with, but I think this is a great starting point.  Where ever you are at, you can make the decision to just start being happy for no reason, and watch the LOA do it’s job.  Life gets easier and easier when you are being a Deliberate Creator, enjoying the process of vibing what you want, rather than waiting for the other shoe to drop all the time.

So, we are only able to perceive certain things, and the emotions and powers we want to have or be, sometimes seem invisible to us…and that is actually true.  With so many realities to choose from, we literally could be anything we want.  We get to choose, we get to pick that vibe.  Pay attention–wake up!  See what you are really vibing today, and see what it makes you wish to intend for tomorrow as you are laying in bed.

Intend to feel good, and pick one of the categories above to plan out better feelings for–Money, Relationships, or Health, and see where you are after doing it for 30 days.  Your gradual change will almost guarantee your success, so you can look at your life and actually feel great looking at it, as is, rather than how you would like it to be.  BUT, until then, use your imagination to get where you want to go, stay happy along the way, and you will get there!  Your better overall mood will bring you better results in your whole life, so all three topics could be affected at the same time.

Put your best vibe out there!  Your Highest Self feels the best emotions for you, and you can also.  If you don’t like your results, start vibing something more…expand yourself so that you can BE more.  Your perceptions will change over time.

Money Consciousness

What is your money truth?  Get your money consciousness up to par! Start telling your money story with better expectations and see where you get!  Whatever you think about, especially with great feeling is what you get in life, so what are you thinking about?

What are your dominant thoughts all day?  Scientists say we think about 60,000 thoughts every day!  If you spent the majority of your time thinking about how you displease others or others displease you, how bad others are, and how you aren’t good enough to achieve your dreams, then you are thinking negative!

If the majority of your thoughts are about good things, expecting good things to happen for yourself and your loved ones, and seeing the good things actually come, then you probably have a good money consciousness as well…money just follows a healthy, good mood!

The Abraham-Hicks In the Vortex CD offers four really good 15-minute meditations on Overall Happiness, Money, Health, and Relationships.  Listening to this CD has given me much relief from all of my monkey mind issues!  One important topic in the CD is that raising your general and overall happiness level, by appreciating all you do have and noticing what IS going right in your life, brings you more happiness and usually, more money as well.

But this video is awesome because it really gives good perspective on how to raise your vibration around money.

Helping someone for the right reasons or the wrong reasons

Have you ever helped someone and felt great about yourself for it, like because you did it for the right reasons?  I sure have…Like yesterday, my 5 year old found a nickel and a penny and didn’t have a pocket, so she asked me to “hold” it for her and then later on at the grocery store, a man asked me for exactly 6 cents.  I quickly assessed that the six cents were meant for him, but I could easily find a quarter and handed him that instead (not wanting to upset my kids, I made sure I used “my” money).  But I felt great because I knew it was the universe at work, lining up an interesting synchronicity for me.

This could be one of many interactions where people seem to find me for answers, be it money, abundance, spirituality, or some self-learning, that I’ve seen lately.  I’m not sure what label I’ll give it, but it will be a good and empowering one.  I’ll consider it a compliment that people in my world view me as someone abundant enough to gift to others.

And, of course, there are countless other times when I wanted to give or was inspired to give, and that kind of giving feels completely different than the kind of giving when we feel obligated.  No matter what, it’s the label we give to it that matters.

If I view myself as helping someone because they are helpless or not enough, then I whatever I do, I’m not helping them at all.  If I view the other person/animal/situation as being able to help or heal themselves, or I can uplift them or the situation, that’s my only goal.  So, as Esther Hicks says, “I am happy on the way to my perfect relationships.”  Relationship with myself/God, relationships with others, relationship with money, success, time, etc.

Expectations and the Now

Oh, how I love the subject of Expectations and the Now, or living in the Now…and I love just letting go of the past and finding the alignment I want now…it’s true that it really doesn’t matter what life was like 1 year ago, 5 years ago, or 10 or 20 or 30 or more years ago.  The only thing that matters is what we tells ourselves NOW.  This concept is fun to practice and live with and play with, to change around until you find a way of milking moments, to LOVE the now as best as you can, because it’s really all you’ve got.

This funny conversation is just a gem full of insights on how to use the Abraham Processes, using Ease, Fun, Clarity, Playing with others, FEELING that for many days…and how it will bring your vibration up AND bring the fun into your life.

I have had an amazing week of rendezvousing with lots of fun and fun people, and very few less aligned people and situations.  If you’d like to play with more fun people, have better relationships, more fulfilling family times, then maybe you could listen here (thank you, Dewdrop) and then spend the next month also putting that into your vortex and then knowing that you created it and as all the fun you wanted shows up, really feel your powerful creative ability.

As I think about how I get the best our of everyone else in my life when I don’t ask THEM to change to please me, I know I am so getting this!  The trick is to focus on the good I DO see in me, and in them.  Don’t get caught pigeon-holing people into set roles!  Let them rise to your good expectation of them!  Whether you are a parent, spouse, teacher, co-worker, boss, child, sibling–GIVE OTHERS A CHANCE to rise up!  It really works, but you must stick with it for a while.  You’ll see the results fast though!

Some of my personal successes just this week are, hearing my 5 year old counting on her own, finding many ladybugs at the beach, meeting a nice family at our library, and I’ve noticed that more people really are smiling at me when I walk by, or say, “hello”, or stopping to talk, and I’ve petting more dogs while I’ve been out in my neighborhood.  My house has been really peaceful, and I love that.  My husband took the time to speak with me about things that interest me (like natural health stuff) and he took a bike ride today.  I kept my cool as things I didn’t like appeared, so I know what I still will work on (which is NOT focusing there, and instead focusing on things I do like and want in my peeps) and when I normally would overreact to something, I was totally calm, enjoying the flow of how energy works, and like in slow motion, I told myself that I am soothed and perfectly satisfied with my life right now as I enjoy all co-creators learning their way around their vortexes.  Life is so good!
