Adding some Ease into your Friday

This is a really general Abraham Hicks video about Ease and Flow, and because it’s really general, it makes you melt into this delicious vibe of easy. No specifics about where in life you want easy and it works!

I really do like the ease of my world, how I don’t have to control or monitor anything but myself.  Guiding might be the better word!  I try to focus on ease with my parenting, because I want to have an easy going style with my children, I want them to be cooperative and contribute to our harmonious family life, so ease is an essential.

I want that ease with family and friends and groups, with pick ups and drop offs, with exercise, with fun, with stuff I feel I want to get done, with work, with my husband, with phone calls, with paperwork, with technology.  If I practice Ease in general, it shows up in all the places I would expect it to be. Overwhelmed with Manifesting using LOA

Sometimes, even I get overwhelmed with manifesting using LOA, even though I’ve been doing it for years and have gotten pretty good at it.

I am finding that I should sit back, relax, find something I really do enjoy, and just do that!

Like, I don’t have to focus on “doing” a million manifesting exercises.  I can just think about puppies and bunnies!  Life is really easy when I do that.  And, I bet you are guessing ease would be helpful, right? More

What Tears of Joy mean

So many times in my life I was thrilled to experience the “tears of joy” that we all get. Something joyful happens and we tear up…but why do we do that?

What tears of joy really mean (usually, and I say this from my life experience) is that we are having a wonderful moment of joy, but we know it’s bittersweet, fleeting, and temporary (like for a child’s graduation and lots of things with children)…and we wish to experience it longer, and therefore, we experience a mixed emotion of what is really joy AND anguish about the timing.  I find that this happens to me a LOT!  I feel sincerely moved by the every day living of being a mother and watching my children grow up, watching relationships change over “time”, and the uniqueness of each person I am honored to behold.

I thought this was just my humble opinion, but then I actually found an Abraham-Hicks video about tears of joy…and although she doesn’t say exactly what I just did, she clarifies some cool stuff.

She says that if we are crying for any reason, we are not in the vortex, and the reason we cry when something feels really good is because we aren’t used to feeling good for an extended period of time.  With practicing gradually changing our vibrations, we can change to experience and notice more good in our every day lives, and the moments that would give us tears will give us more pure joy instead, and we’ll get used to living from that purer state.  I suppose I should be asking to manifest overflowing good feelings, so that I can share them with others, rather than observe life.

I like how she talks about relief and clarity!

Finding the Feeling Place of Satisfaction and Relief

I’ve heard Esther Hicks say that the feeling of satisfaction is a lot like relief.  Feeling satisfied is so extremely important, it means we really like ourselves, and are happy in our current moment.  It means right now is good, and we aren’t looking ahead to the next moment or worrying about the past.  Satisfaction feels good.

What is the feeling place of satisfaction and relief for you?  Is it:

  • Doing well on a task and celebrating it?
  • Getting something done joyfully–like all your cleaning–and being satisfied with your work and your self?
  • Realizing that you handled a difficult situation well–with ease or patience or kindness?
  • Knowing that so many things are lining up for you–and you created them?
  • Believing in yourself and your own abilities?
  • Feeling like you are so good–just because you are, or because of your performance?
  • Just feeling good where you are at, right now?

If these are the kinds of things that make you feel satisfied, then you are well on your way to being more happy with yourself.  You must have a strong current of self talk that uplifts you, and having satisfaction is an easy way to keep in a higher vibration.  Enjoy who you are, reach for feelings of satisfaction and relief, and watch what happens!  Try to find the feeling place of satisfaction more often, ask for it, and you will be given it.

Much love!  See my monthly calendar here!

The Emotional Journey

The teachings of Abraham speak of “The Emotional Journey” that a person must take before he/she actually receives the object of desire.  The emotional journey is when you are getting ready for and aligning with this desire.  Some people say, “I’m going to get a new job,” and then they do the steps that lead them to it with ease, and they actually get the job.  Others say, “I’m going to get a new job,” and then fill their minds up with self doubt, and spending a large portion of their time talking about how hundreds of people are applying for it, and only one person will actually get this job.  This person is unlikely to make progress.

What’s the difference?  It’s in the emotional journey from Point A to Point B.  The first person is completely aligned about getting the job, so there is little resistance to having it.  The second is full of reasons why he won’t get the job, and so he won’t. If a person truly believes that he deserves something good, expects it to happen, and also really desires it, then it will come.

Do this exercise for yourself and you will see where you are about having belief, expectation, and desire.  Think about something you want that you really believe you will manifest, maybe even easily.  And think about another thing you want that you believe would be more difficult.  Track the outcomes of each.  I know if you follow your feelings, it will feel good to manifest the easy one, and it will feel slower and it will be more frustrating as you want to manifest the harder one.  It’s about focus, and the belief, expectation, and desire though.  Really explore what your beliefs are so you can drop the limiting beliefs on each topic that aren’t serving you.

Then focus solely on the good feelings you want from the desire–that is what will drive you to reach the goals you want to achieve.  If your desire is to get a new car, feel that feeling of driving it in the now, and spend a few minutes, even just once a day feeling that great feeling, as if it’s already manifested for you.  This is what I mean by focus.  Do not entertain all of the naysayers that say you can’t have a new car.  Do not worry about how you will get the car, or how you will pay for it. Keep the focus on the feeling of having it and how great it feels to be driving it, parking it, washing it, how easy your life is with this car. Once you start practicing this way of thinking (the vibration of a new car) you are on your way to it.

If your desire is just making a little more money, like $100 or $200 more a month, that is easy to ask for.  Just think about how good it will be to spend that money in the way you desire, such as allowing the children to do more activities, or putting a few more dollars into savings.  Feel how powerful you feel, as you have the ability to use money to your advantage each month.  The money is just passing from person to person, spreading abundance to others after you.  You are part of this global economy that is always changing and creating more, so there is enough for everyone.  It’s easy to feel good for most of the day, receive the good you deserve, and then pass it along to the next person.  You can happily receive all the good things you want.

Remember, don’t be wishy washy and go back and forth about your desire.  If you really want something, don’t tell yourself you can’t have it.

Much love, Jen C.

How to do a Vision Board that works for 2015

I am so excited to post this guest blog article from Zehra Mahoon, a LOA coach in Canada.  I’ve learned so much from her ebook offered at the end. 🙂 I’ve been reading her blog for years, and I frequently use Zehra’s YouTube videos about Abraham.  Hope you’ll enjoy making your vision board for your best year yet!  It really works!

How to do a Vision Board that works for 2015

What is a vision board?  To look at a vision board is a collage of pictures that represent things you want.  It’s a bunch of goals and dreams represented in a visual medium.

To make a vision board work we need to understand what it does for us.  Most people think that we do a vision board in order to put it out there – so that the Universe knows what we want and can bring it to us.  In reality, we don’t need pictures or any other tools to tell the Universe what our desires are, because the Universe is privy to each and every one of our thoughts.  The Universe knows in exact detail what we want and what desires we have been giving birth to since the day we were born.

The reason we do a vision board or a visualization is so that we can gaze on our desires with a feeling of joy. More

Fear Is Me Focused in Opposition to Who I Really Am

“Fear is me focused in opposition to who I really AM.”–  Abraham

I like not having much fear, only occasionally.  I like feeling good almost all of the time, and if I”m not, then I know to get connected to my Source and who I really am quickly.  So, today, I thought I’d bring some interesting thoughts on fear and resistance from my good friend, Abraham.  I really like being able to access this information so easily on Youtube or with Abraham-Hicks books.

If you study the LOA, you know that you are part of the Source energy that creates worlds, and that every thought is real. We are connected to our inner guidance system so that we can have access to our Source through our emotions.  Our emotions are the indicators about where we are at on any topic.  If you look at your self, love life, career, or family, you will bring up a variety of emotions.  Think about where you are now on each topic.

Is it all rosy and perfect, or do you have some unfulfilled desires? More

Is Fear Good or Is Fear Natural

If you do, you can use your emotions to guide you toward more good feelings.  Believe that “every day in every way, you are getting better and better.” as the Silva Method teaches.  Many spiritual teachers, like Louise Hay and Abraham say, “All is well.”  These general statements put us on a path of wellness, with little to no resistance.

Fear stops us from achieving so many dreams we desire.  Oftentimes, we feel like life has gotten hard, and that we are stuck in a situation, we must fulfill a duty, so many people are counting on us, or we just don’t like the lives we’re living and we’re not sure what step to take next.  Fear keeps us confused, and we stay on a perpetually obtuse path, and resenting it, being angry about it, we’re unclear about what we should do, and essentially, stay afraid to “move.”

We create a lot of resistance:  we tell ourselves we aren’t good enough, smart enough, rich enough, socially astute enough– to make something we truly desire–happen.  We complain, which creates more situations to complain about as the LOA brings more of the same back to us.  We think, “if only I had this”, or “if only I had done that.”

Here’s the antidote:  Playing the “Wouldn’t it be nice if” game.  I love using this game, especially when I’m fearful.  I say, Wouldn’t it be nice if…

  • I can move into a better feeling right now?
  • I can choose to feel better?
  • I look for things I want instead of focusing on small details about fears?
  • I focus on things that make me happy?  (And, there are so many things that do.)
  • I can sit quietly and listen to what my Inner Being really thinks of me?
  • My life is getting easier and easier?
  • I can feel the ease in my life?
  • I can feel the path opening up for me?

So, it’s basic and general, and it works to focus on better feelings.  The higher vibration feelings are love, appreciation, passion, empowerment, inspiration, creativity, knowing, belief, faith, hope, clarity, ease, wellbeing, and the like.

I wish these things for you, so that you can access these higher vibrations and lose the fear.

Much love!

Beyond Positive Affirmations

So many people talk about having fear and that  it’s good or natural considering certain circumstances.

Is fear good or is fear natural?  LOA says that fear is us getting a signal from our inner being that is showing us that we don’t agree with the good that our inner being sees us as.

Here’s an interesting video on it from my friend Zehra, another LOA coach.

I have been affirming for a long time, that fear is not real, it’s just me not seeing the truth in a situation.  I know when I’m getting fearful of something (like someone getting sick or not having enough) is to be general about everything in order to get off the subject.  It is always such a relief to change the subject, as this video talks about!  It works every time!

I know I started talking about something yesterday, and it was…

There is a Mental Game that People with Cancer have to get right

There is a Mental Game that People with Cancer have to get right.  Long article, but it’s the path to well being.

It may or may not be easy to recover from cancer, but that depends on your Beliefs, Expectations, and Desires.  (I fully believe and support the work of Abraham-Hicks and offer this information based on using those teachings.  You can use the search box on their site to research more of these ideas on your own.)

Wouldn’t you think that the path of least resistance would be the path to wellness if a person would like to heal and get better from having cancer or a long term or chronic illness?  (Rather than the live terribly ill and take all these meds, which might kill you or give you all these symptoms and side effects you don’t want?)

What if the path was easy?  Would you take it, or would you think someone is trying to get over on you?  What if the path was natural, easy, and even made good feelings soar? More

Why My Kids Believe in the Idea of Santa But They Don’t Believe in Santa

Here’s a nice holiday surprise!  My little girls do not believe in Santa.  And I’m the one who made sure of it!  I’ve told them from when they were really young that Santa is really Mommy and Daddy and all the good people that want to give. And we are Santa every day, and they can be Santa also.  I want my children to grow up wanting to give, and at this time of year, it’s easy to have fun with gift giving for us, and for the charities we care about.  And since we do nurture imagination in all of our lives, this was no big deal to allow them to generously give to others for Christmas and every day.

I couldn’t bring myself to tell them a lie after doing the Santa routine with my oldest and having her lose trust in me for carrying it on.  I let her find out and get doubts and finally told her, but it was like she had a burden because we’d lied.

So, I chose to handle it differently with my two littler ones.   More
