Is Fear Good or Is Fear Natural

“Fear is me focused in opposition to who I really AM.”–  Abraham

I like not having much fear, only occasionally.  I like feeling good almost all of the time, and if I”m not, then I know to get connected to my Source and who I really am quickly.  So, today, I thought I’d bring some interesting thoughts on fear and resistance from my good friend, Abraham.  I really like being able to access this information so easily on Youtube or with Abraham-Hicks books.

If you study the LOA, you know that you are part of the Source energy that creates worlds, and that every thought is real. We are connected to our inner guidance system so that we can have access to our Source through our emotions.  Our emotions are the indicators about where we are at on any topic.  If you look at your self, love life, career, or family, you will bring up a variety of emotions. Think about where you are now on each topic.

Is it all rosy and perfect, or do you have some unfulfilled desires? If you do, you can use your emotions to guide you toward more good feelings.  Believe that “every day in every way, you are getting better and better.” as the Silva Method teaches.  Many spiritual teachers, like Louise Hay and Abraham say, “All is well.”  These general statements put us on a path of wellness, with little to no resistance.

Fear stops us from achieving so many dreams we desire.  Oftentimes, we feel like life has gotten hard, and that we are stuck in a situation, we must fulfill a duty, so many people are counting on us, or we just don’t like the lives we’re living and we’re not sure what step to take next.  Fear keeps us confused, and we stay on a perpetually obtuse path, and resenting it, being angry about it, we’re unclear about what we should do, and essentially, stay afraid to “move.”

We create a lot of resistance:  we tell ourselves we aren’t good enough, smart enough, rich enough, socially astute enough– to make something we truly desire–happen.  We complain, which creates more situations to complain about as the LOA brings more of the same back to us.  We think, “if only I had this”, or “if only I had done that.”

Here’s the antidote:  Playing the “Wouldn’t it be nice if” game.  I love using this game, especially when I’m fearful.  I say, Wouldn’t it be nice if…

  • I can move into a better feeling right now?
  • I can choose to feel better?
  • I look for things I want instead of focusing on small details about fears?
  • I focus on things that make me happy?  (And, there are so many things that do.)
  • I can sit quietly and listen to what my Inner Being really thinks of me?
  • My life is getting easier and easier?
  • I can feel the ease in my life?
  • I can feel the path opening up for me?

So, it’s basic and general, and it works to focus on better feelings.  The higher vibration feelings are love, appreciation, passion, empowerment, inspiration, creativity, knowing, belief, faith, hope, clarity, ease, wellbeing, and the like.

I wish these things for you, so that you can access these higher vibrations and lose the fear.

Much love!

So many people talk about having fear and that  it’s good or natural considering certain circumstances.

Is fear good or is fear natural?  LOA says that fear is us getting a signal from our inner being that is showing us that we don’t agree with the good that our inner being sees us as.

Here’s an interesting video on it from my friend Zehra, another LOA coach.

I have been affirming for a long time, that fear is not real, it’s just me not seeing the truth in a situation.  I know when I’m getting fearful of something (like someone getting sick or not having enough) is to be general about everything in order to get off the subject.  It is always such a relief to change the subject, as this video talks about!  It works every time!

I know I started talking about something yesterday, and it was…

How to Pay Down Debts using LOA

I love the Abraham Processes for Money, and they have showed me how to pay down debts using LOA. The book by Esther and Jerry Hicks, Ask and It is Given, explains how to show the universe that you are ready for more money. With holiday time here, I wanted to offer some tips on eliminating debts and increasing personal power.

First, I had to get comfortable with money being just an exchange between myself and others. Money isn’t positive or negative, but neutral.  How I felt about myself had to be positive though!

The processes for Abers is to take your smallest debt or bill during the month, and then pay double what you owe. The idea is that you will actually look forward to paying this bill over some of your other ones because you get excited about getting rid of the debt.

As soon as your debt is gone, you are ready for saving or putting that money toward some other substantial goal, and as the debt gets smaller, the momentum builds and you will feel great.  It’s really true though!

The trick to stay positive though, is to completely focus on that good feeling shift you are making.  No dwelling in why you got the debt, no beating yourself up over the debt, no worries about what you don’t have, but only happiness that it feels great to lessen it, knowing that small steps every day will lead to your desired results.

My experience with this, is that I tried this process, and I paid my monthly debt each month and doubled the payment.  But soon after I started, I wanted to pay even more than that!   And the universe kept finding me ways to allow money to flow in so that I could pay more.  I took the chance, and found that Life is good, All is well, and Esther was right once again.

And here’s my two cents (sense):  If you stop complaining about everything in life along with following this particular process, you will exponentially increase your results.  Throw in the Thankfulness Project and you will literally be golden!

Much love and many blessings from Jen!

Jen Caruso:  I have been studying the LOA for many years, and have some experience manifesting feelings and stuff I want, like three happy children and a kind husband.  My feeling good has become my focus, as I am a very happy homeschooling mom enjoying all the fun that I decide and my vortex brings.

LOA and Animal Cruelty S998

Animal Cruelty is a hot topic now in NJ, as Governor Christie just vetoed Bill S998, which would have allowed gestating pigs to have some freedom of movement.  Here in NJ, this gestation crate issue is gaining some momentum because Christie is trying to gain favor from the Governor of Iowa, who strongly supports the pork industry.  The bill theoretically would save pigs from an inhumane lifetime locked into a crate, but these crates aren’t actually used here.  So, the bill would just continue to make sure that the crates WON’T EVER be used, or brought back.

This symbolic gesture would help pigs, but at the same time, us animal rights activists also have to balance ourselves, and know that there are other solutions.  Solutions that will be coming shortly, because over 90% of NJ wanted the crates gone.

The reason why I write this article is to bring up important points about all sides of this situation. And, mostly because I want to get some positive momentum going that will allow the animals freedom while they are alive.  Some humans see these pigs as so important that they have rights, and some aren’t moved to help animals in any situation.  My goal is to write about the LOA (law of attraction) and animal cruelty, and give some tips to live a better and happier life, no matter what side of the animal rights issue you are on. Arguing For My Limitations

I had an almost urgent feeling that I HAD to get this post out. I just took up jogging again, after years of not bothering to even try real cardio. There is good news and good news! But I must start at the beginning and brief you, so you fully understand why it matters where I came from…

I was teaching in Newark when I started jogging, urged along by a coworker, who was a former marathon runner. I was maybe 25 or 26, in great health overall, but never tried jogging outside of high school gym class, where I got winded. After a few runs with my students as part of a jogging program during school, I didn’t get winded any longer. It was getting easy. So easy, I started running at home and loving it.

It kept getting easier, actually. So easy, I was running 4 miles in the morning without breaking a sweat. Eight minute miles without breaking a sweat. Then, I thought, maybe I’ll train for something bigger like a marathon or a half marathon. I started doing longer weekend runs, getting up to 8-10 miles no problem.

All the while, I was considering getting pregnant, and with my (ex) husband wanting to get pregnant faster, I took medical advice that I really didn’t like. More

Book of Positive Aspects about Children

I’m just starting to use a book of positive aspects about children…I’ve been doing LOA very actively, and with more and more focus and clarity, for over a year. And, I’m sorry I didn’t do this sooner!  In the teachings of Abraham, Esther Hicks speaks about using this book to just enjoy positive things about any topic a person likes.  As the person writes, they think of more and more things that are positive, building a positive vibration about the topic.  When you feel like stopping, you stop.  Change the vibration, little by little, until it’s way more positive than negative…or just keep adding more positive to an already positive vibration.

I’ve heard about the BOPA and all, and I’d read Ask and It Is Given, I’ve journaled and done focus wheels, I’ve written what I am grateful for. I have book after book with notes everywhere. Finally, after somehow not realizing it was so useful, I started to write my own first Book of Positive Aspects–because I finally decided it was time to ONLY write about my children in a positive way.  Frankly, I was tired of having little complaints about my family life (even though they had plenty to complain about as well).

I have already seen a tremendous improvement in my relationship with my children. Just by viewing them with a better light, I have managed in a few days to influence a relationship that has been at times difficult, toward much more positive communication, a new cooperation, and just more kindness.  I am actually in awe of this beautiful process that I have carefully set into motion, and am eager to continue to use. Does the Law of Attraction Work and Some Abraham Processes

Have you been wondering, “Does the law of attraction work?”  I meet many people who say it does, and many that do not.

Life has many flavors, colors, feelings, senses, and we are all exposed to various people and situations that shape us into the beings we become. It is never our circumstance itself, but how we view the “hand we are dealt” that determines how we think about ourselves and life.

The law of attraction is what sets up this process of deciding what we like and don’t like, and then as we focus our attention (even the newborn baby will believe it will be cared for–or not) we map out our “emotional set points” for our future lives, and therefore, our happiness.

Sounds crazy, right?

The cool thing is the the law says that if we focus our attention and generally believe that good things will happen, then they will (like an expectation), and that if we believe negative things will happen, then they will.  This article will explain the camps of thought about LOA, and how to use it should you like to test it out for yourself…that is the easy part, so relax into it! Gaining or Losing Confidence after Divorce

I have to share a really personal story, because I believe it has real relevance for anyone out there. Although losing confidence after divorce is so typical, I believe there is a benefit to notice that gaining confidence IS possible after a life changing event, even if the event appears to be “negative.” It is my experience, that although most divorcing people attempt to get friends and family to understand their side of the arguments they put forth, it is never one-sided!  People in the midst of divorce feel stifled and suffocated by their spouse at times, and sometimes the divorce is seen as the answer to “free” the person of the ball and chain.  Through the divorce, a person can feel free enough to now pursue the ideas, ideals, dreams, or goals that they did not feel they could arrange within the marriage. Truth be told, it theoretically could be possible to be free within the marriage as well, but that would take a path to allow freedom for both partners. Very hard to accept blame when a spouse believes he/she has been wronged, and it’s far easier to blame the other…

If one’s confidence is tied to another’s opinion of you, you will be a sitting duck during a divorce. More

Peaceful and Positive Parenting using LOA and Affirmations

holisticjen's avatarBeyond Positive Affirmations

How do you know if you are the peaceful, positive parent you wish to be?  Do you actively use the law of attraction or affirmations for yourself, your relationships, and your parenting? It’s easy to say that, “I’m a good parent,” but without real introspection, a really terrific parent might feel like he’s is terrible or a really horrible abusive parent might think he/she is getting by alright.

Unfortunately, many people don’t realize how parenting is undervalued in society, so people don’t take the time to look at what life is really like for parents of small children, instead focusing on how hard it is when they are teens, and complaining about kids being disconnected from adults or being too entitled.  What parents need is a consistent stream of praise for themselves!  But guess what? No one can really give it to them, unless they cultivate it within.  Know that…

Positive Affirmations and Acne

New post on acne and clearing up skin.

holisticjen's avatarBeyond Positive Affirmations

So glad to share what I’ve learned about having acne and then using positive affirmations to clear up my skin.  This is my personal perspective, beginning when I was nine years old, and over the process of this year (as a 40 year old woman), I’ve learned to use my mind to control when and how much acne I get/have and how fast it will clear up.

If you yourself have had issues with acne, wondered why you really get acne, and how to have clear skin, maybe these positive affirmations and tips will help you as well.

For me, I have noticed a clear connection with my emotional state and my outbreaks.  For decades, I tried to tell myself that the outbreaks were due to hormonal changes, maybe my period coming, or stress.  True or not, I wasn’t controlling the stress!  Changing my pillow case didn’t help, and every…

Divorce Affirmations Part 1

Mindset strategies for divorce.

holisticjen's avatarBeyond Positive Affirmations

If you are thinking of getting a divorce, you need to get the right mindset for every area of your life–positive divorce affirmations, really.

You are probably thinking, “that’s crazy, I’m so busy being mad at my future ex, and my mind is jumping from one topic to another. I’m crying; I’m crazed, I’m angry and depressed.” But wait: there is a whole list of practical and amazing things that you DO WANT…what if there was a way for you to manifest much of or all of what you DO want by focusing on those things, rather than complaining about how bad your life is going?

Using positive affirmations, you can transform the energy you are putting out into the world, and as you do so, good things will come back to you. The more relaxed you are, the better. Take a walk and be alone with yourself, so that…
