LOA diabetes

I wonder how many people are using LOA to heal from diabetes?  Probably not many, but I am telling some of my story in the hope that it will help someone.  Join my Diabetes into Wellness Facebook group here.

I made a commitment to be the healthiest diabetic I could be when I was first diagnosed at 17.  I still have no complications and am in pretty good overall health regardless, and I’m almost 42.  I have tried a bunch of different ideas over the past few years, all of them bringing me closer to healing completely.  I try not to think of myself as diabetic at all, even though doctors like to say I’m type 1 and it’s incurable.

I heard in the movie, The Secret, one of the authors/speakers say that incurable means “curable from within.”  That really stuck with me, and I have slowly made some progress to get better in many ways, focusing on overall health and happiness AND to take certain specific steps to heal diabetes.

I have personally met the doctor featured in Simply Raw, and he became my doctor for a short while.  He cured his own diabetes and became a naturopath to help others do the same.  But, I didn’t heal back then.  I still wasn’t ready.  So, I kept on the path, sometimes focused and sometimes not.

And here I am now, starting to get more answers to my puzzle–it’s not really a puzzle  any longer.  It’s just a path.  LOA teaches to think of the body as healed and to be thankful for that healing.  I practice this idea often, and use visualization to ponder what it feels like to be cured.

And today, I was so fortunate, I actually spoke with Dr. Robert Young, who wrote The PH Miracle for Diabetics.  He said that diabetes is really not a blood sugar problem, but a problem with salt, that the salt is necessary for so many bodily functions.  He said low blood sugar means low energy because there isn’t enough salt to get energy to the cells.

So, if you are apt to buy his book and read up on living healthfully with diabetes, I do encourage you to do so as well.  It’s definitely something that most doctors “think” they understand, but don’t really know at all.  I am on this path and will stay on it until I at least said, “I tried”, and I keep seeing myself as the healthy person I know I am, full of energy, full of life, full of vibrance, able to have fun and feel easy in my body.  I feel free and easy.  I radiate happy and healthy energy to others.

Using LOA for weaning toddlers

Explicit language and ideas.  Don’t read if you can’t handle.  My littlest is weaning and is very close to actually stopping her nursing at bedtime.  Any attachment parent knows that this can be a lovely transition into her “big girl” status, and some folks like me know that this is LOA all the way.

Some parents choose to end their nursing when they want (which can be good for some) but my belief is that making a child unhappy (when nursing/feeding this way is what they were meant to do) in order to make the adult happy can lead to quite a few problems in the child.  More

LOA and Sleep Problems with children

LOA and Sleep; no matter what you believe, it’s good to evaluate (in a fun way) where you can make some changes so that you can get a good night.

I became a very light sleeper as soon as my first daughter was born (14 years ago) because my mothering instinct just kept me awake.  I blamed the hormones.

Then, I had two more girls, my middle one with moderate sleep apnea, and my youngest needing less sleep than the others, even at 3.  I was desperate at some point, and my husband was also losing a lot of sleep and wasn’t his best at work.  Attitudes were cranky and we were using way too much caffeine.  Even so, everybody’s sleep patterns were changing (and still are) and so I had to realize that it’s better to let go of the outcome and make this not so important.  That I didn’t want to desperately “need” sleep.  And, worse, I didn’t want to try to control every little thing in my environment or what my kids were doing.

I wanted to use the law of attraction to change our sleep patterns and I did successfully.  I got used to the idea that it’s all temporary, it’s all changing–gradually each day–and that I can guide my mindset where I wanted to.

I started telling myself that I just want to feel good (classic LOA  and Abraham-Hicks) and started thinking about what that looked like.  To me, it looked like happy kids playing, laughing, and having fun doing all they love throughout the day, and cooperating and being harmonious.  To me, it looked like me having energy and joy when speaking with my children and me also having fun with them, being a great teacher.

(The trick here is thinking more about being happy and the good things in life that I do really want, and leaving sleep out of the equation, more than focusing on the lack of sleep and all of the potential problems concerning sleep that I could have spend many minutes or even hours complaining or explaining to others about).

In the beginning, try to realize that the Universe/Source IS supporting you, but has been giving you what you have been stating is your reality.  Only YOU can change that.  As you wake up at times you wouldn’t want to be awake or put a child back to bed, reassure yourself that you can be fully present for this moment and make good decisions, even if it’s just to be a happy enough parent to soothe your child, read a story, or just tell a story one more time.

And, don’t forget being thankful for the sleep that you do have, but leave it at that.  Don’t focus too much on sleep if you are not getting enough.  Focus on something else, how stillness and quiet feels in the night.  How a warm, sleeping body sounds next to you in bed.  What your beautiful children smell like, and how adorable they look as they drift off to sleep.  How safe and happy and securing it is to put little ones to bed and have some time to yourself.  How nice it is to wake up refreshed and feeling great.  Feeling free is also a good emotion to enjoy, even in your mind, because it helps you to have ore time freedom for yourself.  And, be thankful about how all of the answers you are seeking are open to you right now.

So, to recap,

  • Make sleep not so important and focused on–Instead think of the other things you are wanting and are happy about.  Just realizing that focusing on Lack of Sleep is the opposite of what you want might be enough to prompt a change within you.
  • Realize that gradual changes can turn into the lasting changes you want.
  • Visualize what you want (sound sleep even if only for a few hours), and literally ignore all you can about what you don’t want (because sleep is a loaded issue, you want to not talk/complain about it).
  • Make the best of every situation when you have to “be” awake–alone or with the kids.  Show the kids a the happiest parent you can be.
  • Be thankful for all the good, all the time, all the freedom, and all the blessings you do have.  What you focus on expands, this is the law of attraction.
  • Because everything is temporary anyhow, remember that everything is working out for you.

And if you are curious as to how my kids sleep patterns worked out, my oldest started staying up until 11 pm when she was in 6th grade, and it’s something I’m not worried about and have “let it go”.  My middle gets up to use the bathroom and goes right back to bed, usually with someone else, but she does fall asleep easily now.  She still wakes up at 4 am but does go back to sleep after that.  My little one just needs less than everybody else, so I don’t fight these things.  Overall, we have the sleep we need.  I am so thankful that this is where we are at!

You can do this as well, get clear about the good things you do want, and ignore as much as you can about what you don’t want.  You’ll get there!  It might take months and some nightly massages (those helped us a lot) or some other good inspiration will come to you, like speaking of peaceful things at bedtime or being thankful as you are all in bed.  Something will come and you will know what to do.  Just be open to what that is, and don’t worry about How the Universe can give you what you want.

Inspired Life

Do you know if you are living an inspired life?

Have you thought about following through on your biggest ideas and plans lately?  As the end of the year quickly approaches, it’s time to get real about if your life is really what you’ve defined it would be.

How do you “know” that your life has meaning?  Can you feel it?

How do you define yourself and what matters to you? More

What We Are Able to Perceive

What we are able to perceive is a reflection of the state of mind and heart we are in.  Did you ever notice that when you are in a bad mood, more bad things keep happening?  Or if you are in a good mood, there is no end to the fun you have?

The reason is that we are only able to perceive within whatever vibration we are in.

  • If we are vibing “no money” we keep seeing no money in the situations we encounter and in our bank accounts.
  • If we are vibing “bad relationships” many things can go wrong within a few different relationships, even ones we enjoy.
  • If we are vibing “sickness”, we get more sickness!

The way to get out of this cycle, is to intend to feel good before you even get out of bed.  Intend to feel what God wants us to feel, which is good, relief, joy, happiness, and comfort.  Of course, there are many more higher energy vibes you could begin with, but I think this is a great starting point.  Where ever you are at, you can make the decision to just start being happy for no reason, and watch the LOA do it’s job.  Life gets easier and easier when you are being a Deliberate Creator, enjoying the process of vibing what you want, rather than waiting for the other shoe to drop all the time.

So, we are only able to perceive certain things, and the emotions and powers we want to have or be, sometimes seem invisible to us…and that is actually true.  With so many realities to choose from, we literally could be anything we want.  We get to choose, we get to pick that vibe.  Pay attention–wake up!  See what you are really vibing today, and see what it makes you wish to intend for tomorrow as you are laying in bed.

Intend to feel good, and pick one of the categories above to plan out better feelings for–Money, Relationships, or Health, and see where you are after doing it for 30 days.  Your gradual change will almost guarantee your success, so you can look at your life and actually feel great looking at it, as is, rather than how you would like it to be.  BUT, until then, use your imagination to get where you want to go, stay happy along the way, and you will get there!  Your better overall mood will bring you better results in your whole life, so all three topics could be affected at the same time.

Put your best vibe out there!  Your Highest Self feels the best emotions for you, and you can also.  If you don’t like your results, start vibing something more…expand yourself so that you can BE more.  Your perceptions will change over time.

Feeling Alignment Getting in the Gap Getting Happy

Don’t you just love the feeling of alignment, AKA Getting in the Gap, or just Getting Happy?

Most people don’t need to waste their money with therapy, groups, friends, family and many pointless conversations complaining to anyone who will listen!  For most, the answer to prayers truly comes just from focusing on solutions and feeling relief or feeling hopeful about the future.

With focus, feeling alignment becomes easy!  Finding something joyful about right now, being it, just because you are or love who you are, because you are enjoying some part of your experience is what life is all about.  Right now, I am in alignment because I choose to be; I am a conscious creator or a deliberate creator…and therefore, good things like my kids being nice, lots of fun experiences, and having enough of everything just comes naturally as a result of that alignment.

Getting Happy is really the plan for a good life!  What Dr. Wayne Dyer talks about when he was discussing “getting in the gap” was getting from where you are now to where you want to be…part of it is being happy NOW, and not waiting for the happiness to happen when you get there.  Esther Hicks, through Abraham, also teaches about how people should get happy now.

BUT HOW?  Small steps make a big difference!

How does anyone feel alignment when they are sick or have money problems, or they have a lot of drama?

First, anyone can start doing a Book of Positive Aspects, used in Ask and It is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks, where you get a notebook, and write only positive things about any topic–because you just want alignment, because it will make you feel good doing this, or because you want to improve your vibe about a topic (you wish to write about an easy topic that seems fun right now).

Second, begin to ignore as much as you can that isn’t pleasing to you.  Literally, I mean.  Care for yourself in whatever way you need to, but beyond that, ignore anything you don’t like.  It will create a peace in your mind, because complaining is a luxury in most instances.  We really should be praising far more than complaining anyhow–it feels far better and will actually bring us alignment, whereas complaining creates a downward cycle that keeps us down.

Start to think about what is fun instead!  Almost everyone I know says they love nature or like to take a walk, and these things are free.  Not everything costs money if money is tight, and there are lots of activities you would do just because you like them (read, watch or go to a great program, painting, coloring, listening to music, being with a pet, yoga, exercise, meditation, sports with friends, starting a group for DIY topics).  Use your imagination–that is what it is for.  When you put yourself into a positive vibe on purpose, methodically, every day, your life will completely turn around.

Practicing Enjoyment and Delight with Sisters and Children

I’ve decided I am a master at practicing enjoyment and delight.  No matter where I am or what I am doing, I have fun or make things lighter.  I’ve been practicing the vibe of “fun” just because that is what I want my life to be.  Oh, and how it works.  When I take the time to really align with my Source (and you can also), Source loves me and shows me the fun. How to be Happy using LOA

This how to be Happy using LOA video is one of my absolute favorites.  So, I’m sharing this in the hopes that you can gain some law of attraction tips…following the feeling of just being happy.

The looking for, finding of, and just being happy…is what brings more good into your life.

As a life coach, I love setting myself up for FUN!  I do it all the time, for instance, when I wake up, I set up my day in appreciation for the fun I’ve already experienced, and the fun that I’m eager to have.

Life is supposed to be fun, that’s what Abraham always says!

If life isn’t fun for you, well then, you’ve got to get aligned with your true Source.  Getting clear, feeling good, being Rich, having fun, and more fun, is really the true Abundance we were all meant to have.  Does that feel meant-to-be for you?  If it doesn’t, make sure you watch this until the end, savor the words, and then practice them for real in your own life.

The Center for Conscious Caregiving Psychic Fair in Brick NJ 2015

I am so excited to invite you to The Center for Conscious Caregiving’s Psychic Fair on Sept. 5th, 2015.  It’s a Fundraiser as well, to expand the center.  The main goal of the center is to empower caregivers so that they stay balanced, and can continue to be caregivers, without as much stress.

Stress relief comes in the form of Reiki, and learning self care. This wonderful opportunity to learn Reiki is free or low cost, and honestly, is the best thing you can do for yourself.  You will learn to quiet your mind, feel what your body is telling you, and even understand what your body might need to heal.  And you get to practice an ancient art form of passing energy through yourself into your chakras or someone else’s chakras.  It’s an empowering feeling to know you can have this balance and peace, and do it with ease.

So, back to the Fair, which will be from 10 am to 3 pm, there will be a variety of types of psychic readers, and all sessions are $30 for 25 minutes.  There will be a food truck for refreshments, and vegetarian and traditional offerings.  And eclectic vendors with stones, jewelry, and more.  And, chocolates!

LOA Acne or Clear Skin

I am so lucky, I have had this little thing some people call acne, and I’ve decided that I’m going to love my skin no matter what.  I do have a choice, to have acne or to have clear skin.  I have progressively, and naturally figured out that when I’m in a good mood and love my skin, I get clearer skin immediately afterwards.  I keep playing around with it, with hormones and mood issues, and I am fully convinced that using LOA to clear up my skin is effective.  Manifesting Tip–keeping playing with your own statements, beliefs, and emotions, until your skin is improving, and make note of how LOA has matched you up with a great response from your body and be thankful for it!

So, the trick is to enjoy your body, in every way, keeping a strong desire to have clear skin, but loving yourself where you are at.  Know that it’s coming when the love is in the now.  Understand?  When you love and appreciate NOW, everything you want comes.

I got a pimple before my period came, but it was only ONE pimple this time.  And I’ve been pretty clear in general, and I am quite satisfied with the results.  I am satisfied!!  For once, I am satisfied instead of complaining about the conditions of my skin (life).  Wait a minute–me being satisfied is the key?  Wait, if I feel successful and happy regardless of my circumstances, my life will be good, AND my skin will clear up? YES!

I often use the affirmation from Louise Hay, “I love, accept, and approve of myself (and others)” and this remembering helps me immensely to just be who I am and not even worry or look at the conditions of my life so much.    And just being happy is way better than waiting to be happy, right?  So, I guess I’ll just enjoy my day and all my great qualities, not worry about my future, and find some fun…and I think it will find me!!

Having clear skin really is a matter of mind, staying positive, and realizing that the body is not the soul.  Your soul is so loved, you are so loved, and your life is so good.  So, I want you to really feel that in your own journey, because the joy is in the journey!  It’s all about that.
